Azerbaijan resumes chocolate exports to 6 countries

In 2022, 27,518 tons of chocolate were imported to Azerbaijan for $95.222 million.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 9.4% more in value and 5% less in quantitative terms than in 2021.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 4,591 tons (+73.4%) of chocolate worth $12 million (+2.1 times).

Some 700 tons (+2.2 times) of products worth $2 million (+77%) were exported to Georgia, 679 tons (-29%) of products worth $1.72 million (-12%) to Russia, 508 tons (+2.1 times) worth $1.46 million (+2.2 times) to Saudi Arabia, 471 tons (+3.1 times) for $1.21 million (+3.8 times) to the UAE, 412 tons (+19 times) for $1.1 million (+22.4 times) to Türkiye.

Azerbaijan resumed deliveries of chocolate to Belarus (119 tons for $325,000), Afghanistan (35 tons for $84,000), Palestine (56.2 tons for $148,000), India (17 tons for $57,000), Qatar (119 tons for $351,500) and Latvia (14.42 tons for $39,000).
