Azerbaijan represented at conference of Association of Tax Authorities of Islamic Countries

The 18th annual Technical Conference of the Association of Tax Authorities of Islamic Countries (ATAIC) themed “Digital economy taxation” was held in Istanbul.

Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, that a delegation led by the head of the State Tax Service, Orkhan Nazarli, represented Azerbaijan in the event as an observer country.

Türkiye's Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance, Ismayil Ilhan Hatipoglu, CEO of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia, Datuk Mohd Nizom Sairi and Deputy Commissioner of the Turkish Revenue Administration Bekir Bayraktar spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference.
