Azerbaijan reduces spending on steel imports from Türkiye

In January-May of 2024, Azerbaijan imported steel worth $39.47 million from Türkiye, Report informs, citing the Türkiye Exporters Assembly.

In May alone, Türkiye exported $8.576 million worth of steel to Azerbaijan, which is 12% less than a year ago.

In the first five months of 2024, the total value of Türkiye’s steel exports increased by 13% year-on-year to $6.626 billion, and in May, it rose by 17.3% to $1.466 billion.
