Azerbaijan reduces spending on cement imports from Türkiye by 2%

In January-May of 2024, Azerbaijan imported cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware worth $21.35 million from Türkiye, 2.2% less year-on-year (YoY), Report informs citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

In May alone, Türkiye exported $5.261 million worth of cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware to Azerbaijan, 36.2% more YoY.

In the first five months of 2024, the total value of Türkiye's cement, glass, ceramics and earthenware exports decreased by 7.4% YoY to $1.83 billion, while in May it went down by 5.7% to $425 million.
