Azerbaijan reduces expenses on import of fertilizers

In January-September 2023, Azerbaijan spent $56.2 million on importing fertilizers, 3.6% less year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan earned $51.05 million from exporting fertilizers, 3.2 times less than a year ago.
During the reporting period, expenses for the import of fertilizers amounted to 0.45% of Azerbaijan's total import expenses, and export earnings made 0.2% of the country's total export earnings.
In January-September 2023, the volume of Azerbaijan’s trade operations with foreign countries exceeded $39.1 billion, 1.8% less year-on-year.
