Azerbaijan records remarkable growth in labor market indicators

Azerbaijan has seen a surge of over 580,000 additional employment contracts signed since 2019, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev said at the 5th Exhibition for the Promotion of Local Companies in Baku today, according to Report.

Moreover, the wage fund in Azerbaijan has experienced a remarkable 2.7-fold increase, the deputy minister added.

Aliyev highlighted that the average monthly wage has risen by more than 80%. He noted that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population assists nearly 100,000 individuals in finding jobs each year.

The exhibition, held for the 5th time this year, will feature over 150 local companies operating in various sectors such as food, ICT, education, construction, industry, logistics, and textiles, showcasing their products and services over the course of 3 days.
