Azerbaijan names best exporters

Azerbaijan’s Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has published a ranking of state and non-state exporting companies in the non-oil sector for January–September 2022, Report informs.

MKT Istehsalat Kommersiya LLC is the leader of the list presented in the March survey ($95.8 million).

The MKT LLC was followed by the local representative office of Azerbaijan International Mining Company ($76.4 million), Baku Steel Company LLC ($31.1 million), Mors Trading LLC ($29.2 million), Almeyva ($28.4), STP Aluminium LLC ($28.2 million), Shirinov Elvin Valeh ($27.8 million), P-Aqro LLC ($27.8 million), Rose Servis LLC ($25.3 million) and Shimal AgroPark ($23.7 million.

The Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) headed the state-owned enterprises involved in export operations in the non-oil sector ($453.7 million).

The top ten companies also included:

• SOCAR Polymer LLC ($146.3 million);
• Azeraluminium LLC ($102.2 million);
• AzerGold CJSC ($73.5 million);
• Azerenerji OJSC ($35.7 million);
• AZAL ($6.1 million);
• Azeripek LLC ($1.3 million);
• Geophysics and Geology Department of SOCAR ($0.8 million); and
• Nakhchivan State Energy Service ($0.7 million).
