Azerbaijan more than quintuples revenues from tobacco exports

In January–March 2023, Azerbaijan imported $26.4 million worth of tobacco and tobacco substitutes, 0.5% more than in 2023, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

During the reporting months, Azerbaijan earned $11.5 million from the exports of tobacco and tobacco substitutes, up 5.3 times from a year earlier.

Import expenditures accounted for 0.7% of Azerbaijan’s total imports, while export revenues constituted 0.2% of total exports.
