Azerbaijan meets nearly 30% of Georgia's oxygen needs

In January-August this year, Georgia imported oxygen worth $529,600, Report's local bureau says, citing the National Statistics Office.
The volume increased by 28.6 times compared to the previous year.
Over the reporting period, the first three main suppliers of oxygen to the neighboring country were Turkey ($361,700), Azerbaijan ($144,700) and Russia ($22,950). Azerbaijan has met 27.3% of Georgia's oxygen needs.
During the pandemic, Georgia is importing oxygen from neighboring countries to meet the growing demand for oxygen in hospitals.
