The Audiovisual Council has prepared a number of proposals regarding the amendment of the law 'On Advertising', Fazil Novruzov, the chief of staff of the council, said at the seminar on 'Advertising activity in the audiovisual environment' in Baku.
"One of the suggestions is related to the duration of the advertisement. It is suggested that the ad be presented in 3 blocks of no more than 12 minutes within 1 hour. It was also recommended that programs with a duration of less than 20 minutes, children's and religious programs should not be interrupted by commercials, and commercials should not be broadcast on official days of mourning. It was also proposed to provide 60-minute and maximum 6 blocks of telecommerce within one day," he noted.
