Baku and Bishkek will look into possibilities of opening trade houses of both countries, Report informs, citing the declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries, signed in Baku today following the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz presidents.
The document notes the importance of creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activities, organizing mutual business events in order to establish and develop bilateral business ties, identify specific areas of bilateral cooperation, and also maintaining direct contacts through business circles, chambers of commerce and industry, industrial and business associations of the two countries.
"Noting that mutual investments are one of the important factors of economic cooperation, the parties express their readiness to support, protect and encourage investments in areas of mutual interest," the declaration reads, adding the importance of developing investment cooperation through the implementation of large and strategically important projects in the energy sector, agro-industrial complex and infrastructure projects.
The parties are also ready to implement investment projects aimed at developing a green economy, namely in the field of renewable energy sources, organic products, and ecotourism.
