Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee and Iran's Customs Agency have approved an action plan on boosting cooperation and mutual assistance in customs for 2022-2023, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
In this regard, a meeting was held between representatives of the customs services of the two countries. It was attended by Chairman of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Sahat Habibbayli, Minister of Customs of Iran Alireza Moghadasi, Head of Customs of East Azerbaijan Province Leyli Oranji, MP from Julfa-Merend region Masuma Pashai and others.
The parties discussed the minimization of customs control applied to vehicles passing through the territory of the two countries, the implementation of interaction to ensure the rapid passage of cargo vehicles, etc.
