Azerbaijan increases cost of importing vehicle parts by 31%

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan imported vehicles and their parts worth $928,297,820, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee. This is $221,048,730 or 31.25% more than the same period last year.

During the past months, the import of vehicles and their parts made up 12.39% of the total import of Azerbaijan.

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions worth $30.6 billion with foreign countries. In the past seven months, $22.6 billion of the foreign trade turnover fell to the share of exports and $7.5 billion to imports.
