Azerbaijan increases spendings on tea, coffee imports

In January-September of 2022, Azerbaijan imported coffee, tea, mate and spices for $63.859 million, 18.2% more than the same period last year, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan exported coffee, tea, mate and spices for $9.9 million, 54.7% more than a year ago.
During the reporting period, the imports of coffee, tea, mate and spices made up 0.62% of the total imports of Azerbaijan, and their exports made up 0.03% of the country's total exports.
In January-September 2022, Azerbaijan conducted $39.814 billion of trade transactions with foreign countries. Exports accounted for $29.521 billion of the 9-month foreign trade turnover, and imports reached $10.293 billion.
