Azerbaijan increases leather imports from Turkiye by 55%

In January-June of this year, Azerbaijan imported leather and leather wares worth $10.836 million from Turkiye, up by 55.2% from the same period last year, Report informs, citing Turkiye's Exporters' Union.
In June alone, Turkiye exported leather and leather wares worth $1.746 million to Azerbaijan, up by 39% year-on-year.
In the first half of the year, the value of total export of leather and leather wares in Turkiye increased by 23.5% year-on-year, reaching $0.979 billion, and in June, the value of the export of leather and leather wares increased by 12.6% to $0.172 billion.
