Azerbaijan increases costs on leather imports from Türkiye by 34%

In January-November 2023, Azerbaijan spent $19.401 million (3% more than a year ago) on importing leather and leather products from Türkiye, Report informs citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
In November alone, Türkiye exported leather and leather products to Azerbaijan worth $1.703 million, which is 33.8% more than the same period in 2022.
Over the first eleven months of 2023, the total value of exports of leather and leather products from Türkiye decreased by 6.9% year-on-year to $1.745 billion, and the exports in November decreased by 28.1% compared to a year earlier to $124.422 million.
