Azerbaijan increases cargo transportation with foreign countries by 9%

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan's cargo turnover with foreign countries by road transport amounted to 3,039,865 tons (+8.9%) worth $6,732,178,000 (+18.3%), Report informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.

In particular, within 7 months, 1,167,778 tons of cargo worth $1,057,893,000 were exported, and 1,872,087 tons of cargo worth $5,674,285,000 were imported.

During the reporting period, the value of exported cargo decreased by 2.2%, while its volume increased by 5.8%, and the value of the imported goods increased by 23.1% and the volume by 10.9%.
