Azerbaijan imported 197,000 tons of grain from Russia’s North Caucasus

The North Caucasian Interregional Department of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) has checked 197,000 tons of grain exported to Azerbaijan this year, Report informs referring to Rosselkhoznadzor.
During the reporting period, 309,100 tons of grain were sent to Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq and Azerbaijan. Some 186,800 tons of grain were shipped to Armenia, to Georgia – 100,400 tons of grain, to Iraq – 15,100 tons of grain, to Iran – 3,800 tons of grain, to Azerbaijan – 197,000 tons of grain.
Export from Russia’s North Caucasus increased by 1.6 times compared to the same period last year.
