Azerbaijan posts more than 18% decline in car imports

In January-February 2021, Azerbaijan imported 9,437 cars worth $ 100,112,590 (2,110 units or 18.27% less than the same period last year), Report says, referring to State Customs Committee.
According to the Committee, the number of cars with a seating capacity of ten or more seats dropped 26 units or 40.63% to 38 ($4,210,410), and passenger cars and other motor vehicles fell by 19.58% or 2,098 units to 8,619 ($82,536,050). Meanwhile, vehicles for cargo transportation grew by 3.24% or 24 cars to 765 ($5,723,620), and special vehicles dropped by 40% or 10 units to 15 ($656,250).
