Azerbaijan exports whiskey to one more country 

Azerbaijan imported 8,040 decaliters of whiskey worth $3.381 million in January-July 2022, respectively, up 21% and 61.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The countries exported whiskey to Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

- Great Britain – 5,030 decaliters (+9.6%) worth $2.375 million (+86.6%)
- Ireland – 2,040 decaliters (+61.3%) worth $606,450 (+44%)
- USA – 780 decaliters (+6.8%) worth $301,800 (+8.6%)
- Germany – 50 decaliters (+25%) worth $28,960 (-22%)
- Japan – 10 decaliters (remained unchanged) worth $21,990.

During the first seven months of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 410 decaliters (-89.3%) of whiskey worth $51,110 (-61.3%). The countries imported whiskey from Azerbaijan:

- Benin – 360 decaliters (+3 times) worth $40,910 (+5.1 times)
- Unspecified country (Duty-free shop) – 20 decaliters worth $4,380
- Iraq – 20 decaliters worth $4,060
- Ukraine – 20 decaliters (-71.4%) worth $ 1,760 (-73.3%).

Azerbaijan exported whiskey to Iraq for the first time after 11 years.
