Azerbaijan cut costs on leather imports from Türkiye

In January-August 2023, Azerbaijan spent $13.131 million (4.6% less year-on-year) on importing leather and leather products from Türkiye, Report informs citing the Council of Turkish Exporters.

In August alone, Türkiye exported leather and leather products to Azerbaijan worth $1.459 million, which is 26.6% less than a year earlier.

Over the first eight months of 2023, the total value of exports of leather and leather products in Türkiye increased by 0.4% year-on-year to $1.328 billion, and the exports in August decreased by 11.6% year-on-year to $168.797 million.
