Azerbaijan begins importing bicycles from 2 more countries

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 282,677 bicycles (97% more YoY; two-wheeled and other types, without engines) worth $4.7 million (14% less YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported bicycles from China, Russia, Germany, Belarus, Cambodia and other countries.

Last year, for the first time in the last 13 years, deliveries were made from Austria (3 units for $200) and Dominica (2 units for $400).

In 2022, China accounted for 97% of the 143,765 bicycles imported into Azerbaijan (from 28 countries).
