Azerbaijan begins exporting glass sheets to US

Azerfloat CJSC, a resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park under the management of the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, has started exporting glass sheets to the US for the first time, Report informs, citing EZDA.

According to the information, over 69 tons of products were supplied to the US at the initial stage.

Azerfloat CJSC produces glass sheets based on German technology in the territory of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park.

In the year 2023, Azerfloat achieved sales exceeding 52 million manats, equivalent to over $30.5 million. Around 50% of these sales were from exports, with products reaching various countries such as Türkiye, Ireland, Morocco, Russia, Georgia, and Ukraine. These exports were proudly labeled as “Made in Azerbaijan.”
