Azerbaijan and Latvia exchange experience in taxation

A delegation led by the Deputy Head of the State Tax Service under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy, Samira Musayeva, visited Latvia to exchange experience in the field of taxation.

Report informs, citing the State Tax Service, that Musayeva met with the Director General of the State Revenue Service of Latvia, Baiba Smite-Roke. Presentations were made on the tax control process and risk management applied by the Latvian side, control over tax obligations, application of legal procedures, etc.

In turn, Azerbaijani representatives made presentations on services provided to taxpayers and their improvement, tax disputes and litigation, the use of artificial intelligence and information technologies, as well as other topics.
