Application of state standards in Azerbaijan up sixfold

In 2023, the use of state standards in Azerbaijan increased 6 times compared to 2020, head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Supervision under the Ministry of Economy, Mammad Abbasbayli, on his page in the social network X, according to Report.

In recent years, the application of standards has expanded in various sectors of the country's economy.

"The expansion of the application of standards in the country creates wide opportunities for organizing the production of products and services in accordance with modern requirements, introducing innovative technologies into economic activities, protecting people's lives and health, as well as improving the quality of products and services," Abbasbayli said.
