Another country resumes rusk exports to Azerbaijan

In January-April this year, Azerbaijan imported 214 tons of rusk worth $ 363,000, which means a 38% growth in value terms and 54% in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 446.06 tons (34.5 % more compared to the previous year) of rusk worth $ 182,000 (+38 %) from Russia, 35.65 tons (+11.2 %) worth $ 99,000 (+6 %) from Turkiye, 17.6 tons (-4.7 %) worth $ 34,000 (+12.7 %) from Ukraine, 39.7 tons worth $ 32,000 from Iran, 2.5 tons worth $ 10,000 from UAE.

A year ago, no rusk was imported from Iran. This year, for the first time in the last 11 years (note: the official statistics in the public domain on trade are available until 2011), UAE exported rusk to Azerbaijan.
