AmCham to submit nearly 50 new proposals to government

Baku. 5 October. REPORT.AZ/ The American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham) will submit new proposals to the government, the Executive Director of AmCham Azerbaijan Natavan Mammadova told Report.

According to her, the proposals are included in the White Paper called “Observations and recommendations for improving Azerbaijan’s business climate”: ‘We have prepared nearly 50 proposals on 10-11 areas. It will be published at the end of this month’.

She said that the White paper is expected to be firstly submitted to the President: "By the end of this year, we plan to introduce the proposals to the public."

The proposals envisage tax, customs, banking, finance and insurance, IT, labor, migration issues, tourism, judicial and other areas.

AmCham prepares White paper every two years. The last document was published in 2016.
