ADB: Carbon pricing not enough to combat climate change

Carbon pricing alone is not enough to effectively combat climate change, Sandeep Bhattacharya, a representative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), said at an international conference on carbon assessment organized by the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy in Baku, Report informs.
He emphasized that, despite the effectiveness of carbon pricing, other strategic instruments are also needed: "ADB has members who need help. They are suffering from the effects of climate change. They need a special strategy and support. ADB is actively involved in financing these initiatives."
