"The King of Horrors" Stephen King turns 70

Baku. 21 September. REPORT.AZ/ Famous American writer Stephen King, who is also called King of Horrors, turns 70 years old.

Report informs, during his career he published 55 novels, 5 popular science books. Feature films and television productions were made based on his books.

To create truly exciting literary works, King honed his skills and derived a formula for how to become a successful writer. "Read and write for four to six hours a day. If you can not find time for this, you may not expect to become a good writer", Stephen King believes.

According to critics the Stand by Me, Carrie, The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption are among the best of his books. The Shining is considered masterpiece of the genre.
