"Letters from strange lands" performed at Azerbaijani National Academic Theatre

Baku. 23 January. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani Academic National Drama Theatre hosted the show of two-part drama of the writer and diplomat Hasan Hasanov entitled "Letters from strange lands" ("Qürbətdən gələn məktublar").

Report informs, for the first time Mirza Fatali Akhundov's image was recreated by People's Artist Ramiz Melikov.

From the date of inclusion of a performance in the theater's repertoire in December 2012 the role of M.F.Akhundov was played by the late actor Ilham Asgarov. After his death, performance director, People's Artist Marahim Farzalibayov gave the role to Ramiz Melikov.

Notably, other roles of the performance played by Azerbaijani people's artists Lalezar Mustafayeva, Haji Ismayilov, honored artists Kazim Abdullayev, Ajdar Hamidov, Elshan Jabrayilov, Vafa Zeynalova, actor Elchin Ahmadov. The director of the performance is People's Artist Marahim Farzalibayov, the art director is the Honored worker of culture, Ilham Elkhanoglu, musical designer is Hamid Kazimzadeh.
