Baku. 1 July. REPORT.AZ/ The "Grace Kelly, princess and style icon" exhibition continues in Heydar Aliyev Center." Report informs, the exhibition is dedicated to the life of a well-known Hollywood actress, Grace Kelly and Princess of Monaco (1929-1982). The exhibits reflect Grace Kelly's career in film acting, her life period after her marriage with the Prince Rainier III of Monaco.
The official opening ceremony, which was held on June 12 was attended by the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the son of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III of Monaco Albert II. The exhibition, which will last until November 1, attracted great interest of residents and visitors.
The exhibition will feature 44 dresses, jewelry and accessories - gloves, hats, sunglasses and bags belonging to movie star and princess Grace Kelly.
The exhibition also will showcase clothes, accessories, letters and photographs to bring to life the unique story of the fascinating and eventful life of Princess Grace of Monaco. In general, visitors will have a chance to view more than 200 rare exhibits.
"The Grace Kelly Years, Princess of Monaco" exhibition has been attended by more than 135, 000 people. The exhibition has been held in Paris, Moscow, Rome, Toronto, Astana, Montreal, Sao Paulo, Bendigo, Doylestown and Apeldoorn.
Grace was one of the most famous Hollywood movie stars. From 1951 to 1956, she appeared in 11 films. For her role in the film "The Country Girl" Grace won an "Oscar". She also has been honored twice with the "Golden Globe" award.
She met with Prince Rainier III of Monaco during the Cannes Film Festival in 1955; this completely changed her life. A year after their first meeting Grace married Prince Rainier III, thus ending her film career.
Princess Grace, mother to three children, was engaged in social activities and charities.
