Baku hosts 'Jazz-Mugham' concert

Baku. 1 March.REPORT.AZ/ On February 29, 'Jazz-Mugham Night' concert has been held in YARAT Contemporary Art Centre on the occasion of the first visit of a French musician Pierre de Tregomain to Baku.

Report informs, Azerbaijani and French musicians took part in the concert, organized by the Embassy of France to our country jointly with French Institute in Azerbaijan and YARAT Contemporary Art Centre.

They played mugham compositions, traditional, contemporary and jazz music as well as musical improvisations.

Notably, Pierre de Tregomain is a French jazz musician and singer, he has several different musical experience. Always trying to explore new voice and music, the singer today in search of eastern traditional music genres.
