"We are currently working with other government agencies to restore and develop tourism in the liberated areas and transform the region into a new tourist destination. It is necessary to create and gradually implement a long-term strategy in order to introduce Karabakh as a national and safe tourism zone. In general, the Karabakh region, especially Shusha, Hadrut, Fuzuli, Sugovushan, East Zangazur regions, have rich resources and opportunities for the development of various types of tourism - eco, health, culture, nature, mountain and winter tourism. In this sense, there is a particular need to mention Aghdam. There are plans to completely rebuild this city exposed to urbicide and turn it into a business tourism center. Cultural tourism products such as Albanian temples, the heritage of the Karabakh khanate, the Silk Road, show the rich artistic tourism potential of this place. Based on these resources, it is planned to develop relevant tourism products and projects under the "Victory Routes" concept. About 1 million local and foreign tourists will visit the liberated areas by 2025," he said.
