The Union of Ski Resorts of Turkic-Speaking States sees its main task as promoting regional development and local winter tourism in the international arena, chairman of the Union, Rustam Najafov, said during the first summit of the organization in Shahdag, Report informs.
According to Najafov, despite the youth of the organization, its ambitions are quite large-scale: "Our goals include developing unified marketing strategies and campaigns to promote member countries as key destinations for winter recreation and skiing enthusiasts, organizing events to increase public interest in winter tourism and sports, implementing joint advertising and PR projects, strengthening the network between member resorts using innovative technologies, as well as providing comprehensive training programs for resort industry specialists."
He emphasized that the mission of the Union is to promote regional development through the active promotion of winter tourism and expanding the number of members of the association.
"I am convinced that our Union will continue to grow, achieve its goals, and achieve even greater success in the future," he said.
