Kanan Gasimov: Messages on reducing effects of climate change on tourism will be given at COP29

At the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), messages will be given in the direction of reducing the effects of climate change on tourism, the chief of staff of the State Tourism Agency, Kanan Gasimov, told journalists, Report informs.

He said that after getting the right to host this event, Azerbaijan started the preparation process: "I think that we will not have any problems with this and we will manage to hold this event at a high level, like other events.”

Gasimov noted that the event to be held covers two directions: “One of them is organizational issues, and the other is political messages to be delivered at the event and contribution to the fight against climate change. As the State Tourism Agency, we have organized our work in both directions.”
