Governor: Flow of Azerbaijani tourists to Egyptian resorts sharply reduced

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ The flow of Azerbaijani tourists to Southern Sinai reduced over recent years which does not correspond to the level of relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt.

Report informs, Governor of Southern Sinai province of Egypt Khaled Fouda told a briefing.

“Yesterday we have met with representatives of Azerbaijan Tourism Association and discussed the issues on addressing the mutual problems in tourism,” said Khaled Fouda.

He said such low level of Azerbaijani tourists directly related with fact that some countries deliberately held bad publicity  against Egyptian resorts.

“I thank Azerbaijan that it did not succumb to anti-Egyptian propaganda unlike other countries,” he added.

Governor stressed that Sharm el-Sheikh is safe and beautiful city permanently is being maintained. Our airport is equipped with modern equipment. We are ready to greet our guests from Azerbaijan”, said Khaled Fouda.
