Baku airport posts highest passenger flow in its history in August

In the first eight months of 2024, Heydar Aliyev International Airport saw a significant increase in passenger flow.

Report informs, citing the airport, that over 5,038 million passengers were served in January-August, which is 33.2% more than in the same period of 2023. In the eight months of last year, the number of passengers served was 3,781 million people.

August this year was the busiest month in the history of the airport. During this month, the passenger flow exceeded 827,000 people, which means a 23% increase compared to the same period last year. On average, approximately 26,700 passengers were served daily in August.
