Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities presented in Poland and Czech Republic

Azerbaijan Tourism Board held presentations in Poland and the Czech Republic in order to introduce Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities in Europe, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

According to information, up to 15 Azerbaijani tourism companies participated in the events held in Warsaw, Krakow, and Prague to expand cooperation with partners.

Thus, information was provided about the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, the Polish heritage in Azerbaijan, the creation of many historical monuments and buildings by Polish architects in Baku, Shamakhi, Ganja, Gusar, and Zagatala, as well as famous Poles who lived and created in our country.

Tourism companies representing Azerbaijan and Poland held B2B (Business-to-Business) format meetings at the events held in Warsaw and Krakow.

At the event in Prague, the Czech Republic, meetings were held in a business format between industry representatives of both countries. Czech tour operators and travel agents were informed about tourism products available in Azerbaijan, direct flights between the countries, as well as procedures for obtaining an electronic visa.

At the event, detailed information was presented about Azerbaijan's winter tourism opportunities, services provided in mountain-skiing centers, mountain-pedestrian routes, the "Slow Food" travel route, and a tasting of Azerbaijani wines was held.
