Azerbaijan's ornithological tourism opportunities introduced in UK

Azerbaijan's ornithological tourism opportunities were introduced at the Global Bird Fair held in the Rutland county of Great Britain, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

Exhibition visitors were given detailed information about the potential of birdwatching in the Great Caucasus and Talysh mountains, Nabran coast, Mingachevir reservoir, and Kura river bank, natural areas such as Besh Barmag, Khinalyg, Laza, rare bird species in Azerbaijan, biodiversity in Gizilagaj, Altiagaj, Aghgol, Absheron and Shirvan national parks, and favorable seasons for bird watching.

The Global Bird Fair tourist exhibition is held every year as an international event to promote ornithological tourism as an important direction of ecotourism. This year, more than 270 companies and institutions were represented at the exhibition, including representatives of countries such as Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Iceland, Bulgaria, France, Türkiye, UK, US, Australia, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
