Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan strengthen cooperation in medical tourism

The National Resort Association of Kazakhstan has signed memorandums of cooperation with the Institute of Physiology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences named after A.Garayev and the Duzdag Physiological Center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to further develop bilateral relations in the field of health with the assistance of the Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan, Report says, citing Kazinform.

The purpose of the memorandums is to develop collaboration in medical tourism, sanatorium treatment, exchange of experience in the field of new biomedical technologies and biomedical research, joint projects, and training programs in health improvement.

The signed documents will also help increase the mutual flow of tourists between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, who undergo medical procedures in sanatoriums of the two countries.
