Azerbaijan invited to international tourism exhibition in Japan 

Japan invited Azerbaijan to participate in JATA WTF-2022 international tourism exhibition in Tokyo, Report informs, referring to the State Tourism Agency.

This issue was discussed at a meeting between the chairman of the Tourism Agency, Fuad Nagiyev, and the Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Junichi Wada. The parties discussed the expansion of tourism ties and prospects for cooperation.

Noting the high interest of Japanese tourists in Azerbaijan, Junichi spoke about the importance of establishing direct flights between the two countries, mutual acquaintance tours for travel agencies, and B2B (Business to Business) events. He noted that the "Azerbaijan-Georgia joint travel project" is expedient for Japanese tourists and could contribute to increasing the number of trips to the region. The ambassador invited Azerbaijan country to the JATA WTF-2022 exhibition to promote Azerbaijan's tourism potential among Japanese tourists.
