"6,725 quotas are envisaged for employment of foreign citizens in Azerbaijan next year," Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev said.
He noted that the Cabinet of Ministers is to confirm the quota.
Aliyev reminded that while defining the quota, close cooperation is maintained with employers: "We choose the specialties for which we cannot find workers within the country. In those spheres, we try to bring highly qualified people here. In other directions, we meet the demand using the potential of the local labor market."
