Azerbaijan announces number of population

As of January 1, the population calculated on the basis of the results of the last census in Azerbaijan was 10,180,770 (53,625 or 0.5% more), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

54.5% of the population are urban, 45.5% are rural residents, 49.8% are men, and 50.2% are women.
