Ukraine: Death toll from COVID-19 rises to 250

456 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Ukraine, Report says, citing Health Ministry of the country.

Ukraine’s total COVID-19 tally stands for 9,866, while the death toll reached 250, as 11 more patients lost lives from the virus.

So far, 1 103 people with positive coronavirus recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 3 139 000globally, resulting in more than 956 097 recoveries and over 218 013 deaths.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
