Georgian PM, Turkish ambassador mull effectiveness of regional projects

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazgan, Report's local bureau states, citing the PM's press service.

The sides discussed key issues on the agenda of strategic partnership and bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Turkey.

Garibashvili thanked Turkey for its support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions.

Issues of economic cooperation were also addressed during the discussion. The joint regional projects are a clear example of effective strategic partnership, sustainable development, and reliable collaboration between Georgia and Turkey.

The parties also exchanged views on the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, cooperation, and joint efforts in this area.
