Armenian police detain 6 people suspected of carrying weapons and ammunition in Etchmiadzin

The Armenian police detained 6 people suspected of carrying weapons in Etchmiadzin, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, Report informs via Sputnik Armenia.

It was reported that the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will visit Etchmiadzin and meet local residents. The police also detained potential protesters during the visit of the head of government.

All-Armenian Catholicos II Karegen's residence is in the church in Etchmiadzin.
