US declares its readiness to work with Europe on various issues

Assistant to the US President for National Security Jake Sullivan reported on the new US administration's desire to "strengthen the transatlantic alliance," Report states, citing TASS.

Assistant to the US President for National Security, Jake Sullivan, held several telephone conversations with officials from France, Germany, Great Britain, and Japan on Thursday. On Friday, it was reported by the Reuters news agency, citing a statement from the National Security Council at the White House, distributed following the talks.

Sullivan also announced the United States' intention to work with Japan on various tasks, including those related to the pandemic, China and North Korea.
