Since November, Serbian students and opposition forces have been holding protests in Novi Sad, Belgrade, and several other cities. At 11:52 - the time when a collapse occurred at the Novi Sad railway station on November 1 - participants block streets for 15 minutes in complete silence. Their placards call for holding those responsible for the tragedy accountable, and a bloody handprint has become the symbol of the protests. Students from educational institutions are actively participating in the protests. About 50 universities and schools have suspended operations due to student boycotts. Students have voiced their readiness to continue protests.
