Zelenskyy: Ukraine keen to double annual drone output

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine currently produces 10 million drones per year, Report informs via Interfax-Ukraine.

Zelenskyy stated that the country's production capacity could potentially rise to 20 million annually.

"I remember when I first presented the state's plan to the public: one million drones per year. There was a lot of skepticism everywhere, both inside and outside. Now we can state the fact: we produce 10 million drones annually. It is 10 million now, and it will be 20 million," he added.

Zelenskyy also highlighted Ukraine's recent long-range strikes against Russia, including the attack on the Omsk Oil Refinery, located 2,884 km away: "For the first time, Ukraine is producing its own ballistic missiles and carrying out long-distance strikes. These are not just projects in development, but real capabilities that can reach previously inaccessible distances. This is truly historic range and historic precision. I thank everyone who contributed."

Ukrainian leader further stated that there are currently no areas within Russian territory that Kyiv is unable to target.
