From dog shelter in Baku - VIDEO REPORT

Baku. 20 November. REPORT.AZ/ The purpose of the Good World shelter for homeless dogs in Mardakan, Baku is to provide shelter to the injured and stray dogs and find owners for them.

Report employees visited the shelter and got acquainted with the situation there.

According to Farid Mansurov, the founder and head of the shelter, nearly 300 dogs are sheltered here.

Some of them were injured and some were abandoned by their owners.

There are three people working in the shelter. In addition, volunteers frequently come to visit and help. Nutrition and treatment  are funded through people's donations. They are given chicken and raw meat.

Mansurov said that many of the dogs are taken by people living abroad: “Some took the dogs and looked for some time and threw it back into the street or returned to the shelter again. We are already monitoring this process to prevent such cases."
